Golf Techniques and Golf Lessons
By admin | November 18, 2006
“Mental golf skills, refining my golf technique, and working on my level of confidence on the golf course, have all been the most important issues, says Mickael. When he flew to the AHPGA from France he really had no idea what to expect from this Australian Golf School.

“In France I had trouble finding any golf school, or golf coaches that would work with me as I only started playing golf when I was 23 years old.
“It’s incredible what I’ve learned over the past eight weeks. The team at the AHPGA have treated me seriously as a potential professional golfer.
“Every day I am eager to start the day‘s golf lessons. At this Australian Golf Academy [AHPGA] I am surrounded by other golf students who are keen to turn professional.
“The atmosphere and environment at this golf school is so encouraging, taking my level of motivation to an even higher plane.”
“Each week I look forward to discovering what new things I will
learn, taking me closer to my goal of becoming a PGA tour professional.
“One breakthrough I’ve made at this golf school is realising how important it is to control my emotions on the golf course.
“I used to be so distracted about how I felt over the last shot,
that it would affect my next shot, and ultimately my overall golf score.
“Hitting the golf ball long distance was no problem for me, but I
couldn’t work out how to reach the target consistently. Tony showed me
the problem was that my backswing was causing the golf ball to go in the wrong direction.
“My short game is another area that I’ve also had a big improvement
in. I used to miss the green, and then have trouble with “holing” the
putt, but now I have no problem.
“Everyone is so friendly, it’s been great. And I am getting to learn more and more English, which is even better.”
