What’s so different about the AHPGA? “I have hardly had any golf lessons focused on my golf swing at this golf school“, says Verity.
She’s been at the Australian High Performance Golf Academy for about seven months now.
“I’ve attended the Australian Institute of Sport, and had Golf Lessons from other professional Golf Coaches. So often my golf lessons were focused on the fundamentals of golf mechanics. Striving to achieve the “Holy Grail”, that Perfect Golf Swing.
If you’re not working on your Golf Swing, then what have you been doing here at the Golf Academy?
“Lawrie is such an excellent golf coach, he is interested in working on me as a person. He’s helped me work on my attitude towards the game of golf. He has shown me a completely new and different perspective.
“I now understand that golf is so much more a mental game. If I can win the game in my head, it reflects so much on how I perform on the Golf Course. My time at the AHPGA has been so amazing. My golf has improved so much, it is incredible!”
So what would you say to anyone who’s looking for some golf lessons?
“You can feel the passion, you can feel the friendliness of everyone here, and it is such a fun place to be.
“There’s an atmosphere at the AHPGA that I have not experienced anywhere else, and it’s been so good for my game.
“The golf students are here because they want to be, they’re all so enthusiastic and very dedicated. The AHPGA is the only golf schoolI know where all the students are so positive about their golf.
